The LIFEPAK Infant/Child Electrodes are compatible with the LIFEPAK 1000 AED. The electrodes can be identified by the light pink stripe on their packaging. The electrodes are designed for children and infants 8 years old or younger, weighing less than 55 pounds. Once the pads are connected, the AED will lower its energy levels to accommodate child and infant defibrillation.
The LIFEPAK Pediatric Pads have a two-year lifespan.
Pad replacement is required after every rescue attempt.
